About thejamesreview:
So I’ve been reading books all my life. I grew up as the child of an English professor, surrounded by thousands upon thousands of books, yellowing pages stacked high on bookshelves always in danger of tipping over on an unlucky passerby. There was no limit to what I could find on a short circuit through my basement: fantasy, sci-fi, poetry, literature, history, plays, science, anything I could get my hands. I’d disappear to my bedroom for an afternoon with a dusty pile of books clutched in my hands and return with bloodshot eyes, hungry for more. In fact, the only thing I like to do more than read books is to tell other people about what I’ve read! I’ve got good friends, but there are limits to any friendship, so instead of harassing them with my opinions for one more evening, I’ve decided to unburden myself on you.
So watch out, here it comes.
